Our hostel in no 35 North Strand provides temporary emergency accommodation for 25 people at any one time.
Drogheda Homeless Aid is also an approved housing body and currently manages 5 properties and we provide transitional and long term housing for people exiting homelessness.
Our resettlement team is dedicated to assisting people secure accommodation and helping those who have progressed to independent living to maintain tenancies and integrate into their local community. Drogheda Homeless Aid offers support services to those at risk of becoming homeless. This includes information and advocacy and can be availed of through the resettlement team.
We run projects to assist with reintegrating clients into the larger community. The most recent project, My Streets, a social enterprise designed to give people experiencing homelessness a legitimate voice, provided professional training to participants to become tour guides of ‘their’ streets.
